Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born June 13, 1962 in the US, is an actor. After her debut on film during 1983's Bad Boys she became known as one of the Brat Pack group of actors. She also appeared on the screen in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). For her performance of Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy was awarded an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Leading Actress. Ally Sheedy, an American writer and actress. She started her film career at the beginning of the 1980s when she appeared in the film based on a crime drama Bad Boys, for which she earned a lot of applause. The film was directed by Rick Rosenthal, other well-known actors such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown, and Alan Ruck also appeared. The actress was on screen in The Breakfast Club in 1985, a comedy drama which followed her first success. John Hughes directed one of best films aimed at high schools. Even though the budget of the film was just $1 million, the film's profits were more than $50 million. In the meantime, she began to appear on various TV shows, including CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first appearance on television. In April 1980, the show began to air. The show was designed for teenagers. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid, Hill Street Blues and Chicago Story are some of the other series in which she's appeared. The most recent of her appearances is Little Sister, a film that follows a super-hero, with Sheedy as an appearance in a minor role. Sheedy for her amazing performances has been awarded numerous times, including an MTV Movie Award for Silver Bucket of Excellence Award in the year 2005.
